Becoming Icon, Miami Beach Resort & Spa Sold 100 Billion

One of the most iconic hotels in Miami has been sold. The hotel was sold for a pretty fantastic at USD117 million or approximately Rp1, 13 trillion.

Reported worldpropertychannel, Friday (05/04/2013) The previous owner Chetrit Group, selling Miami Beach Resort and Spa to a company controlled by Jacob Chetrit.

The Chetrit Group is an investor who has a lot of properties in Manhattan. The plan, they will perform the renovation of existing hotel since 1963. The renovation includes a living room, ball room and other public places.

"We are looking forward to being part of the business community and to recover the Miami Beach Resort and Spa Miami Beach her​​," said the Chetrit Group.

Formerly known as the Doral Hotel, the hotel is located in the 4800 block of Collins Avenue. It is a popular location for a vacation in Miami.

In addition to buying a hotel in Miami Beach, Chetrit Group bought the hotel in 2011 and also Tides Hotel Versailles in 3425 Collins Ave.
